We acquired a new bookshelf over the weekend. A temporary measure to get rid of the clutter i.e my gazillion baking books. JL fixed it and the moment it was upright, guess who came along to inspect.......

1st year anniversary

I have not been too diligent with updating this blog as I have yet to load all my wedding pictures *sigh* Nevertheless, I think I will take it from here and load the pictures later. So what has happened since the wedding? Our first year Anniversary was a pretty quiet one but my husband decided to surprise me with the purchase of a new car. My old wira has served me faithfully but since it has been so old, I was deciding on getting a new car. Was thinking of the Myvi, the Persona hmmmm..........

My husband, the car fanatic got me a Volvo V50 Turbo. A fantastic car I thoroughly enjoy. Thanks a lot dear!



I am seeing more and more V50s on the road these days and was so excited when I managed to park right next to one at the Curve, exact same colour too!

Champagne and Wine

These days, it is almost mandatory to have red wine during the wedding dinner. A couple of years back, there was no such thing. I am not a wine expert but I heard the red wine served during our wedding dinner was decent. The bottle of champange was supplied by the Westin in our bridal suite and yes! I am not wanting to pop it just yet.

Pink M&Ms

I guess many people will be asking what is she on about??? Pink M&Ms??? Yes they do exist and my younger sis was so kind to bring loads back from the states, the pink M&Ms were found in two different packs i) for breast cancer awareness campaign and ii) called cupid mix lovely lovely. I initially wanted to place them around the dinner tables as munchies for the guess but realised that it will all go to waste. So till today I have only opened one pack and given them to a couple of close friends, the rest I am keeping them for special ocassions:)

The Wedding Card

Our Ipoh reception was on 13th January 2007 and our KL reception was on 20th January 2007. The above card is that of the Ipoh reception. This were all handmade by the bride and groom, it was fun but half way we had serious problems with our printer. This seemed to have been the only problem, the ink could not be absorbed by the paper so at a brush of the hand, the ink came off. Other than that, it was all fun.
